AWT has been serving the nation's livestock industry for over 20 years with a staff totaling over 75 years combined experience. AWT provides engineering and consulting services, with extensive expertise in manure systems engineering. AWT is licensed to provide engineering services in 38 states throughout the country. AWT’s full-time staff consists of engineers, agronomists, licensed soil scientists, and GIS/GPS mapping specialists.

AWT has both professional engineers and agronomists who are certified as Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Technical Service Providers (TSPs) in most states. This TSP status allows AWT to assist operators and complexes receiving EQIP funds, as well as assist producers through government contracts with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) / NRCS.

AWT has assisted facilities through contracts with USDA / NRCS in a number of states including: Maryland, Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio, Arizona, and Colorado.

Over the past several years, AWT has worked effectively with over 350 producers in developing Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans (CNMPs) for the NRCS in various states. AWT also has specialized experience and technical competence in manure nutrient management, designing, handling, storage, and transfer.
