GIS / GPS

AWT utilizes Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology in conjunction with Global Positioning Systems (GPS) to enhance work products. Digital cartography is integrated into reports and projects to provide accurate and informative visual illustrations. The USDA-NRCS, EPA, and other federal and state agencies are more commonly making use of this technology and providing data for digital cartography. By having an understanding of GIS and GPS, AWT can take advantage of those resources being provided.
